Investment in unquoted stocks and shares
Documents accrediting the investmentDeclaration of investment made at the Foreign Investments Registry of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation.-
Obtain investment declaration
Step 1Acquire a copy of the declaration of investment in unquoted stocks and shares from the Foreign Investments Registry. -
Apostille the document
Step 2Ensure the investment declaration is apostilled if issued outside Spain. -
Translate the document
Step 3If not in Spanish, have the document translated by a sworn translator.

Documents accrediting the investmentCertificate from the financial intermediary registered with the National Securities Market Commission or the Bank of Spain.-
Obtain investment certificate
Step 1Acquire a certificate from the registered financial intermediary confirming the investment in quoted stocks and shares. -
Apostille the document
Step 2Ensure the investment certificate is apostilled if issued outside Spain. -
Translate the document
Step 3If not in Spanish, have the document translated by a sworn translator.
