Why Melimundo Exists

Founded in 2024 to transform the way people handle visa applications.
"After going through the visa application process myself, I saw how confusing it can be. Thankfully I had help from an immigration team. But I still created a documents tracker using Google Sheets. And so, Melimundo was born. Tools to help manage and prepare visa applications easier."
Who am I
I'm a senior software developer at a wonderful tech company, so I don't get much time to work on Melimundo. However, I'm always adding tools and new features to Melimundo. For example, creating the Schengen Visa Calculator was both insightful and interesting. While I don't need to apply for the Schengen Visa, I still used it to make sure I was compliant with the rules as a UK citizen.
Hoping to build more tools
When applying for the Spain Digital Nomad Visa, I found the process for collecting the visas confusing. I needed an A1 certificate. But in the UK that meant a CA3822 form which I had to fill in and then my company needed a CA3821. So I thought, why not just share this process in one place? It's a huge job, figuring out rules per country, but I look forward to making Melimundo a useful resource for everyone.
So while I'm not a lawyer, I hope I can consolidate enough information here to lower the confusion for others going forward.

Visa information is confusing and scattered. Even more so, the visa process to any country depends on your nationality and where you are applying from. I hope to consolidate that information here, making it easy to get started.
